successful method of teaching. |

ANN
CURTIS CUNEO
 | One of America's greatest swimmers of all time. Miss Curtis set four
world's records, 56 American records, several French and Hawaiian records;
in addition, she won 31 national championships. Her career was climaxed at
the 1948 Olympic Games in London when she won two gold medals and one silver
medal for the United States. She is the first swimmer and first woman to
receive the Sullivan Award, presented to the nation's outstanding amateur
athlete each year. She was elected to the International Swimming Hall of
Fame in 1966 and the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame in 1983. |
CARRIE CUNEO
 |
Carrie Cuneo began teaching swim lessons at Ann Curtis Swim
Club (ACSC) at the age of 15. She was a successful competitive swimmer and
competed for the ACSC swim team that won several Marin Swim League
championships. She also competed in synchronized swimming. Carrie is an
outstanding skier and worked as a ski instructor for many years at Alpine
Meadows, Northstar and Diamond Peak. Carrie Graduated from Fresno State
University with a degree in Physical Therapy. |
